Hello to my wonderful friends and fans in Japan.

I feel I have known and loved you all for many years.

You have always been very special to me and I do feel you are my very close friends.

My first time in Japan was 1961 when I was there filming “Flight From Ashiya” with Yul Brynner and Richard Widmark.

And you have all been in my heart ever since. I have always appreciated your loyalty and kindness more than I can say.

Of course I very much hope you will like my book. That would be my great pleasure! I send my love and appreciation to all of you always! Lots and lots of love to you all!

何年もの間、皆さまと知り合い、愛を感じます。
